The last work of Giovalli uses transparent materials like PCV and synthetic resin.
One of the main concepts of this technique is to involve the third spacial dimension in work of art.
A small collection of  this experiments is shown below.








Der gläserner Mensch - The man of glass (180x125x7 cm, 2004)

With 72 sheets of Agenda (15x19 cm) painted with the technique of Rorschach test on each one of  which is a human face drawn on transparent polyethylene (3D),
I would give schape to my idea of man seen not only by its 
exterior appearance but also by its ,inner live'.
The man has not only become ,transparent' because of the disclosure of his personal data,
but mostly due to the technological progress that allows to study the human body as if it were glass.
Probably in the future you can also read his thoughts. This would make it possible to prevent terrorism und eliminate torture.

"...A work composed of dozens of bottles in which the artist created a symbolic army "uterine" inhabited by small,

 transparent human figures containing written chemical formulas and operations relating to focuses on a scientific research... antropocentric view,
 lost in the contemporary causes exuberant and elusive technological development.

But the approach of Valli creates also an excellent symbolic concept: here the element-transparent plastic material plays with the material inconsistency,
              to become a clear metaphor of the globalized society in which an irreversible process of "dematerialization"
 started to take place, to open a way to a new elusive matter running on data-trasmission networks."
