Giovanna Valli, psychologist, Italian, born in Granada and grew up in Latin America,
received in 1995 a Diploma at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich.
She experimented with transparent materials to extend art into the third dimension.
On this path she invented a system to create holograms without electricity.
This system, based on a mirror cylinder, was registered at the German Patent Office as image column (Bildsäule).
She received international recognition after having presented her holograms in New York, Paris, Salzburg, Venice and Palermo.
In 2011 she participated in the Biennale of Venice on the occasion of the 150th Anniversary of Italian Unity.
In the "FemeFeuerFanatismus" competition, which was dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Nazi book burnings,
she received the Audience Award for the animated film Imperium (15').
Her Works are in the Historical Museum of the Italian Air Force in Bracciano/Rome,
the European Patent Office in Berlin and the Video Library of the Munich Cultural Department.
